Other amenities include tables, playground equipment, restrooms, and drinking water, plus there is an overlook that offers breath-taking views of the dam.

Exploring the Area

Camp in an RV near Meridian for an abundance of things to do and see. The city is known for its Around Town Carousels. This is a striking outdoor art project where over 60 brightly colored carousel horses are dotted all over the city, each of which features a commissioned design by different artists. The reason for these sculptures is the Dentzel Carousel. This National Historic Landmark is a true national treasure and one of a few of its kind. All horses are hand-carved and professionally restored to their original beauty.
