This dazzling summertime paradise is 30 miles south of I-10, and approximately halfway between Mobile, AL, and Pensacola, FL. Although the entire Gulf Coast region was devastated by the infamous BP oil spill in 2010, Gulf Shores has since recovered and surpassed its pre-spill tourism numbers. People from all over the country flock to Gulf Shores all year round to enjoy the sunshine and heavenly beaches that grace its shores. Golf, charter fishing, boat cruises, surfing, and swimming in the impeccable, azure water are just some of the reasons the town remains a tourist haven.

The nearby Jack Edwards National Airport allows for easy access to and from town, and Interstate 10 ensures that when you book an RV in Gulf Shores, you are not limited to staying in the immediate area; the entire Gulf Coast is a wonderland waiting to be discovered. One of the best times to head to Gulf Shores and rent an RV is in May when the three-day Hangout Music Festival is held right on the beach. Forty thousand people attend this incredible music festival each day, making it one of the hottest events of the spring for music lovers.
