TrailerRental #106800

I've seen quite a few "compact" class travel trailers, but never one with this much thought and care put into it. Both cable AND satellite ready with wiring capable of handling both digital and analog signals so that you never miss out on your favorite programs no matter where you lay your head! Getting there won't be a problem either since the Keystone Fireside features Radial Tires and a Radial Spare tire instead of bias ply tires often found on most compact campers! Another nice little touch: The outside shower! Again, this handy little feature is usually found only on larger travel trailers and fifth wheels!

It doesn't get more convenient than having your own bathroom on the road. Let's talk about the 3 main types of toilets you may encounter in an RV rental.

The pics are outdated. Smelled bad because the previous rented overflowed the gray tank which is not lance's fault. Asked twice about the condition of tires. Was told they were less than a year old... twice. Checked stamping on tires halfway through trip and found out they were original tires (from 2011). Can't stress enough how dangerous it is to pull a trailer 1000 miles on 10 year old tires. Putting people's lives in danger to save a couple bucks... Everything in the trailer worked except for the water hose with a big hole in it that i had to replace. Luckily the first campground i went to was nice enough to lend me one. but it left a very sour taste in my mouth being lied to about the tires being replaced, especially after being told he's owned it since it was new. I work on vehicles for a living and I can tell you NOBODY forgets if they spent 400-500 dollars on tires. What really pissed me off was the fact that he was renting the trailers out from a church. Like really? At least be honest. You are at a church. I wanted to tell him he should go to confession after collecting my $600 but his kids were there and i didnt want to make a scene. The pictures online are not an accurate depiction of the condition the trailer is in. The A/C unit is filthy and filled with dust even if it was hot i dont think i would turn it on. The fuse box started overheating because there was so much dust in it / on the cooling fan. He said it was overdue for maintenance and so many people have been trying to book it and hasn't had a chance to do some needed overhaul on it which i understand. I think for $65 a night it would have been fair. If he does all the maintenance it needs, this trailer is worth renting and I could tell Lance is a nice guy, easy to deal with, and a family man who loves camping just making a living like the rest of us in these hard times. With some new tires and a little love this camper will be ready to make memories again.

Lance delivered, setup and picked up R/V as promised. The R/V was better than expected with ample amenities. As for Lance...He is a very friendly, kind spoken man who would be a good friend if we lived closer. I will certainly call on him again my next trip to the mountain state parks of NC,Tn and Georgia.

Great experience overall. Clean, well kept camper. It rained A LOT during our trip and we can guarantee this camper does NOT leak! Lance was easy to work with and helpful.
