Thanks to its shallow depths, it stays warmer than some of the deeper Finger Lakes, making it an ideal destination for swimming and all kinds of watersports. Take a dip in the refreshing waters or slow down by lounging lakeside on the sandy beach. If you need to escape the sun and recharge with a snack during your motorhome camping trip, you’ll find a large picnic area equipped with tables, grills, and pavilions, plus a two-level picnic shelter available for rent at Keuka Lake.
Camping at Keuka Lake
One of the best ways to experience Keuka Lake is to spend some time camping in your travel trailer under the stars and waking up to sunrises over the water. Keuka Lake State Park camping areas offer 150 tent and trailer sites, 53 of which include electric hookups. The campsites are spacious, grassy, and level and include a picnic table and fire ring with a grill cover, as well as a variety of sun, shade, and privacy. Each camping loop features a comfort station with flushing toilets, sinks, and showers with hot and cold water, and electrical outlets. There’s also a dump station at the campground.
Exploring the Area
Continue your road trip adventure by hopping in your campervan and experiencing the many attractions and activities near Keuka Lake. The lake is located at the center of one of the largest and most celebrated wine-producing areas in the Eastern United States, dating back to the 1800s. If you’re into grape cultivation and vino, this is an excellent place to sample from New York’s famous Finger Lakes vineyards, located in the hills along the lake. Keuka Lake State Park has access to both the Keuka and Seneca Lake Winery trails, which feature diverse wines and special events.

We had an AWESOME time in the Frate's camper. It was clean, user friendly, up-to-date, and had a very comfy queen bed! We were comfortable throughout the week during hot and chilly temps outside. Dan answered any and every question I had, and they were just so easy to work with. I was very grateful for the amenities and utensils stocked inside the camper as well. 10/10 recommend!
