Very easy pick up and drop off. The camper was very comfortable and towed well. More cabinet space than I have ever had in a camper. Slide out gave us plenty of room. Bathroom was a bit small and unusable for a shower. Missing lever to be able to use the awning which was a bummer. All in all great experience. :0)

Will was great, very helpful and attentive. He did forget to give me the 110v adaptor, and I had to come all the way back to get that, but that was really the only hiccup. We really would have liked to use the awning since it was a hot afternoon, and shading that side of the trailer would have been nice. I think you might want to let folks know ahead of time if a key feature of the trailer is not available/broken before the rental. I didn't really get a warm/fuzzy feeling at first contact when coming into the building. The nice woman that introduced me to Will was delightful, but her co-worker acting like I was bothering her when I asked for help, just pointed me at the empty counter right next to where she was standing. Okay, whatever. Overall, a good experience. Nice trailer, seemed well maintained. I am considering buying one, and this particular model is high on my list. The mattress had a foam pad on it that was comfortable at first, but was way to squishy and hot. My wife and I agreed on this aspect, and so it wasn't just me (I'm 6'3", 230 and she's 5'2" and petite, so it wasn't just a bulk thing, lol). We both felt like we sank in, and got a bit too to enveloped by it.

I can only give 3 stars for my rental experience. It has more to do with what appears to be business practices for Princess Craft and not with any specific person. Let me start with the good. It was very easy and straight-forward to rent an RV through the web site. They do a great job with their web site from a user experience perspective. Brooke was absolutely fantastic to work with. She was friendly and knowledgeable. She answered all of my questions, even non rental related questions. She even went the extra mile and allowed us to switch R Pods when the one we wanted originally became available at the last minute. Will was also fantastic to work with during the walk through. He definitely knows RVs inside and out. Princess Craft has good people working for them. Now for the not so good. During the walk through I was informed that the awning was broken and could not be used. We discovered that the TV was also broken. It's only a TV and we were camping so we don't really have a need for it other than to watch movies at night. But it was still broken nonetheless. My issue is with the fact that they are renting units with known issues for full price and withholding issues from the customer beforehand. If a company wants to rent units with issues that are otherwise still useable, then they should make that known to the customer up front and reduce the rental rate accordingly. When I returned the unit I mentioned the issues and asked for a partial refund for the inconveniences. It's been 2 1/2 weeks and the only communication from Princess Craft was to inform me they are still looking into the issues. I love the R Pod and would be interested in purchasing one next year if we can make it work. But I am not likely to purchase it from Princess Craft. And I am not likely going to be a return renter at this point. My advice for people looking at their rental units is to ask ahead of time if the unit has issues with it.

Wow! What a great experience! My wife and I rented “Kermit” for a weekend trip to Port Aransas and had a fabulous time camping right on the beach. Clint and the entire Princess Craft Team made the whole process quick and painless. From pick up to drop off, these guys made sure I had everything I needed.

Clint was very helpful and everything was great except for one important item: the rental trailer was not clean! The bathroom was fine but the floor had not been swept out, all the surfaces were dusty and dingy, and the table top was messy and had to be cleaned. If your rental had been clean when I picked it up this would have been a 5-star rating.

Princess Craft has a great rental program! The staff is accessible on the road and prepares the renter for many possibilities!
