Please text or call to arrange pick up and drop off schedule.
Please text me when you are 30 minutes away from pick up/drop off.
Let me know your schedule the day before.
Pick Up no earlier than 9:00 am.
Drop off no later than 5:00 pm.
No climbing on the ladder or the roof. No sitting on the Roof.
No Smoking inside the RV - of any kind.
BEFORE DRIVING
Check all sides to make sure everything is disconnected, there are no people, cars or objects next to or behind the vehicle. Check the tires to make sure they are not flat or need air. Do not rely solely on the back up camera when backing up. If you are unsure about what is behind you or on your sides, ask for help. Double check interior compartments to make sure they are latched shut and that nothing will fall to the ground. Make sure everyone has their seatbelt on.
Clearance
The RV needs 13 ft of clearance. Please be mindful of low awnings like at gas stations, signs, low hanging trees and power lines.
Beds
Bunk beds are not rated to bear the weight of adults over 100lbs.
They are ok for children.
Do not put a small child on the top bunk or bed over the driver's compartment.
The couches pull out to a full sized bed. Lift the seat edge and gently pull away from the wall.
Use the removable ladder stored behind the long couch to get up to the bed over the drivers seat.
Do Not pull on the cabinets or stand on the back of the front seats to get to the top beds.
Curtains
Pull curtains down by gently lowering the shade from the middle of the bottom bar. Do not pull the strings.
Raise the curtain by gently lifting the screen from the middle... do not pull the strings.
Refrigerator
Keep the RV level when parked - to ensure the refrigerator functions properly.
If you are not at a hook up, set the refrigerator to LP gas mode.
If you are hooked up, set to AC.
Gas and Mileage
To fill the gas tank the fill port is on the driver's side door.
Please use Premium Gas, 93 octane minimum.
Please return gas tank full. We charge $5/gal to fill the tank.
Be sure to fill up every 200-250 miles or every 4 hours of driving.
It is better to watch your mileage than the gas gauge.
LP Gas
The LP gas tank is in the middle driver's side compartment.
Please return the LP Gas tank full, we charge $5/gal to fill.
LP Gas serves the refrigerator, water heater.
Generator
The switch for the generator is on the control panel.
To turn the generator on, simply push the on button and hold it until the generator starts.
This can take up to 60 seconds.
Systems Control Panel
There is a control panel on the wall next to the stove. This panel allows you to quickly check black, gray and fresh water levels, LP Gas level and Battery. Make sure the house electrical switch is on... this is the switch near the step inside the door as you enter the RV.
Please do not run battery or LP Gas to zero, doing so will damage the system.
Sinks
Please do not put any food or other solids down the drain.
If you clog the septic system we charge $200 to fix it.
Toilet
Please do not flush anything that did not come out of your body down the toilet.
We have provided you with RV toilet paper, we ask that you only use RV - septic safe paper just in case you flush some tp down on accident. If you clog the septic system we charge $300 to fix it.
Empty Black & Grey Water Tanks
The black water tank is located in the rear driver's side compartment, and the grey water is located in the middle driver's side compartment.
In the rear driver's side compartment there is also plastic gloves and a red hose.
Put on gloves.
Attach the red hose to emptying port, starting with the black - septic waste, then move to the gray.
Pull lever out to empty.
Once the tank is empty push lever back in.
Detach the red hose and rinse with fresh water. Do not store the red hose with the fresh water (white) hose!
Batteries
To keep the batteries up you need to minimize use of the electrical systems if you are not hooked up. You can recharge batteries by plugging in at the campground or with the generator.
The house batteries are in the rear back compartment. The starting battery is under the floor of the driver's seats. If you by accident drain the starting battery there is a jumper connection in the engine compartment. The plug and extension cord are located in the rear driver's side compartment. Simply plug the yellow adapter into an extension cord to charger/use house batteries. When you are not "plugged in". Plug the black cord back into the wall of the storage compartment to use house batteries on the move.
Fill Water Tanks
Do Not Fill With Pump Out Station Water!!! (Make sure the water you use is potable!)
To fill the water tank there is a fill port on the driver's side rear compartment. We have included a white hose for you to use.
Connect the water hose to the outlet in the compartment fill port and the other end to a spigot.
Switch the tank to "fill".
Then turn on the hose, fill till full.
Turn off the hose.
Switch the tank to "normal".
(If you don't switch back to normal the water pressure will not turn off and can damage the water pump.) Also, water will not run through the interior faucet. If you aren't getting water inside, check the fill compartment to make sure the switch is set to normal.
PLEASE RETURN THE RV IN CLEAN CONDITION.
Allow 2-3 hours before you return the RV to Clean the Inside and Outside.
Cleaning Supplies
There are cleaning supplies under the kitchen sink.
Broom and dustpan in the bathroom.
The vacuum is in the rear closet.
We recommend you start by emptying the black and gray tanks. (There is a dump station at the Mission Bay Info Center - less than 5 miles from the pick up/drop off location.) Fill the fresh water tank only if fresh water is available.
On your way back, take Mission Bay Drive to the 76 Gas Station just over the overpass from the Mission Bay Information Center. There you can fill/top off the gasoline and LP tanks.
