The Farm Campground

McBee campers will want to branch out and visit South Carolina's state capital, Columbia. A city full of culture, Columbia has some beautiful museums, such as the South Carolina State Museum. This museum has four floors of exhibits covering a range of subjects, including history, science, and nature. Some of the most interesting sights in the museum include a full-scale replica of a megalodon and the first locomotive ever built by an American. If you're looking to relax, you can catch a show at the 4-D cinema or learn about our solar system at the on-site planetarium. There's plenty of intriguing museums worth visiting in Columbia, and another must-see museum is the Columbia Museum of Art. This well-respected museum houses thousands of paintings from around the world and is known for its incredible Renaissance art collection, which includes the only fresco by Botticelli housed outside of Italy. As well as this fantastic collection, the Columbia Museum of Art has works by several modern masters on display, with pieces by Claude Monet, Thomas Sully, and Albert Fitch Bellows adorning the museum's walls. If you're looking for an activity that will keep all ages entertained during your trip with a campervan rental in central South Carolina, consider visiting the Riverbanks Zoo and Garden. This zoo contains over 350 different species from across the globe, including ring-tailed lemurs, Amur tigers, and kangaroos. The zoo also features a petting zoo where you can pet some unusual farm animals, such as alpacas, barn owls, and Nubian goats. If you're not a fan of animals, you can enjoy some of the park's other attractions, including assault courses, ziplines, and climbing walls.
