Hello, we've lived in the Tahoe area since 2005 and love the outdoors and camping. We have a golden-doodle, Hobbes, who loves to ride along.

Folding TrailerRental #21525

Easy-tow, pop-up tent camper. Our immaculately kept camper can be towed with any car or truck with a 2" ball. We've towed it with a Honda CRV, Subaru Crosstrek XV, Mazda CX-5, and a small Toyota early 90's pickup. We are the second, non-smoking owners. It has 12V power from a marine deep cycle battery that will run lights, small fans, cell phone chargers, or anything with a 12V (cigarette lighter type) plug. The camper can also be connected to shore power and then the 110V plugs (2 outlets/4 plugs) are then available for heaters, hair dryers, computer chargers, etc. The deep cycle battery charges while using shore power. We have sleeping bags, pads, a tent, tarps, a hot propane shower that can be used outdoors in a shower/changing cabana, a stove, and other camping accessories we'd be happy to loan you. We also have a quiet 3700 watt generator that can be rented for 20$ per day.

  • Sleeps: 6 guests
  • Fresh water tank: 5 gallons
  • Gray water: 5 gallons

It doesn't get more convenient than having your own bathroom on the road. Let's talk about the 3 main types of toilets you may encounter in an RV rental.

This was my first time operating and towing a trailer of this type. I purchased and installed a hitch system and wiring harness the week before the trip for my 2019 Rav4, it worked just fine after little practice backing up and switching over to the manual shifting on the downhill grades ;) Overall this was a very successful 5-day trip! Ed was a very good communicator and answered all my questions right away with little to no delay, very much appreciated.

We had a great time! Trailer was just what our family needed for a few days in Lake Tahoe

My teenager and I had a awesome experience with Ed and the 2010 Livin' Lite Qicksilver 8.0! This Pop-Up tent was perfect, we got all of feeling of tent camping with some of the benefits of an RV. The Pop Up was clean and well taken care of. The electricity was perfect for me to use my C-pap at night, charge cell phones, and use my lap top. The air conditioner cooled down the inside during the day. It was so great to not be sleeping on the ground and still have the tent experience. The mattresses were comfortable for camp living (don't get me wrong, it's not the Ritz, but so much better than an air mattress on the ground. Our miniature schnauzer also enjoyed the mattresses too.) Ed was very friendly and easy to work with. Very responsive and communicative. Ed was willing to drop off and pick up the Pop-Up from his home in Tahoe City to the Alder Creek Campground in Truckee. It make things so easy. He set the whole thing up with me at drop off and we packed it up together at the end of the trip. He also provided a camp stove for us to use. We had a great week and the experience with Ed and "Big Blue" greatly added to that. I highly recommend renting anything from Ed. If you're looking for tent camping experience but need more "glamping" type amenities, then the 2010 Livin' Lit Quicksilver 8.0 is the way to go!

Edward was so amazing! Dropped off the trailer and set it up for us! Drove extra miles to make it happen! The trailer was in GREAT shape and his communication was clear, precise and timely. I highly recommend renting from Edward!

The tent was stocked with camping supplies that came in handy with our lack of preparedness. Since our campsite was on Lake Tahoe, Ed and his family were kind enough to deliver. We also rented sleeping bags and camp chairs. Everything was in good condition. Smooth transaction, would highly recommend.
