Sam Houston National Forest is 90 minutes' drive northeast, Galveston Island and the Brazoria National Wildlife Refuge are 90 minutes' drive south, and the vibrant city of Lake Charles is just a day trip away.The campsites at Highway 90 RV Resort have several amenities for a comfortable stay. Campsites have full hookups with 30 or 50 amp connectivity. Facilities include modern restrooms and showers and a laundromat. The RV park is surrounded by beautiful wooded scenery and has a fishing pond stocked with tilapia, bass, perch, and catfish. The indoor clubhouse is perfect for rainy days.

The Great Outdoors

There's lots to do outside when you go RV camping at Highway 90 RV Resort. The Trinity River National Wildlife Refuge is located nearby and offers a number of different options for outdoor activities. Several different hiking trails weave through the wildlife refuge, including the Knobby Knees Trail and the Palmer Bayou Boardwalk. Both of these trailheads start just outside of the town of Liberty, making them very accessible. This wildlife refuge is also a popular destination for hunting. Some of the game found in the park include wild hogs, waterfowl, and deer. Since hunting space is limited, you'll need to enter a hunting lottery in order to participate. You can also opt to go fishing on Champion Lake within the refuge. The lake offers boat access, but there is also a fishing pier. Bass, crappie, and catfish are commonly caught in the refuge.South of Highway 90 RV Resort, you'll find several lakes that offer opportunities for fishing and boating. Lost Lake, Lake Anahuac, and Lake Charlotte are all conveniently located close to the campground. You can also go fishing and boating in nearby Trinity Bay. Fish that can be hooked here include redfish, speckled trout, and flounder. Outfitters in Baytown and Kemah offer boat and fishing gear rentals as well as guided charters.Sam Houston National Forest is also easy to explore when you book an RV rental in Liberty County. The Liberty Opry also hosts live shows throughout the year.It's easy to explore Houston when you go RV camping at Highway 90 RV Resort. Among other things, Houston is known as the home of the US Space program, and you can tour the Space Center to learn more about it. Houston also has an excellent museum district that is home to the Houston Zoo, the Museum of Fine Arts Houston, and the Houston Museum of Natural Science. The Buffalo Bayou is also a great place to watch the sunset and take in views of the Houston skyline.If you love shopping, you'll want to visit the River Oaks neighborhood to enjoy its many upscale shops. The trendy Montrose and Heights neighborhoods are great places to enjoy vibrant nightlife and entertainment, excellent food, and charming coffee shops. If you're traveling with kids, be sure to visit the Children's Museum of Houston as well as the Downtown Aquarium. Those who enjoy the beach may also want to take a day trip to Galveston, which is known for its beautiful coastline and large pier complete with amusement park rides.

Once an Owner approves your RV reservation, you can coordinate a time to pick up your rig or have it delivered to your doorstep or campsite. At that point, the owner will do a key exchange with you and walk you through the RV and answer any questions you might have.
