Truly a half-ton towable toy hauler, this 2016 Outback Terrain is a favorite among campers thanks to it's family friendly accommodations giving you the comfort you want without all the weight. Weighing in at 5087lbs dry, this camper can hold up to another 2413 lbs which means plenty of room for the gear AND the toys. The KING sized rear slide bed allows you to fit into those narrow spaces campers with side-slides can only dream about which usually affords tons more privacy and shade. Two bunks in the garage for extra sleeping space or you can tuck them up and out of the way for the quad/motorcycle/bicycles you care to bring along on your journey. The outdoor camp kitchen ensures the cook of the family doesn't have to spend their time missing out on all the action. And underneath the 19' motorized awning they are sure to stay shaded while they prepare the feast!
This camper is 27' while being towed and expands to 33 feet with the King Sized bed slid out.

*This unit is TRULY half-ton towable, but if you are in doubt or have any questions, please let us know and we'll be happy to check your specific vehicle upon obtaining some of the specs from you.***
We will supply a weight distribution hitch w/sway control for your use.
You will love this unit with full hookups or dry camping. We have switched out the majority of the light bulbs to LED to help conserve battery usage, but you can also rent our Honda ultra-quiet generator if you wish. With it's remote start, you can easily get it going from inside the trailer and have instant access to the microwave or to charge up the batteries.
The garage ramp is 56" wide and your toy(s) must be no more than 90" long. This garage will hold either a:
1 person quad/ATV
2 dirt bikes, possibly 3 depending on size
1 touring-style street motorcycle. **You can see a picture of the bike we take with us in one of our photos. This motorcycle is a V-Star 950, touring edition. It just fits. Please note that a Harley Ultra Classic and Yamaha Venture will NOT fit in this garage. If interested in taking a street bike and concerned on fit, please contact us and we will investigate.
This unit will come with (2) 20lb propane tanks full and ready to go. You do NOT need to worry about refilling - we will take care of that. We will also fill up the fresh water tank if you need, otherwise we will leave empty so as to save you on hauling weight since water is heavy.
Extra Amenities INCLUDED:
3 camping chairs
1 side table
1 medium table
Games: Life, Sequence, Skipbo, Uno Roboto, Dominoes, cards, Frisbee, Nerf football
Floor mats for entry and bathroom
Outdoor Carpet for patio under awning
Battery powered lantern with extra batteries
Linens for 4 - this includes bath towels AND beach towels. If you need more, please let us know. We do also store a couple of extra blankets just in case.
Kitchenware to include:
1 Large skillet
1 Medium skillet
1 small skillet
1 large pot
1 medium pot
1 small pot
Spatulas, spoons, scissors, knives, bottle opener, can opener
Salt/Pepper and a few other spices
Plastic storage containers
Plastic mixing bowls.
***Keurig is available upon request***
Please note - We do supply plates, bowls, cups, and utensils. However, since we personally do a lot of dry camping and try to conserve water when we do, we use paper plates, paper bowls, Red Solo Cups, and plastic utensils to minimize washing dishes. Because of this, we keep it stocked this way. If you prefer a hard-plastic set of dishes and cups, we can certainly accommodate. But this would only be a serving for 4 and needs to be specially requested.
***We do have a bean bag toss game that we will also include, but since we have found not everyone to be interested in this, we do not automatically store it in the camper garage anymore. Please let us know if you are interested in this and we would be happy to include it.
Same with a portable hammock.
SUGGESTED TO BRING:
I do keep some small toiletries on hand to include shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in case you forget yours or run out, but if you have your favorites don't forget them!
Attitude for Adventure!!
With our unit, there is no need to deep clean. We simply ask you to be kind and respectful by cleaning up after yourselves and using a little common courtesy. I go through the unit and do a deep clean myself before every use and while we want you to be able to rest and relax and enjoy yourselves, a little common courtesy goes a long way. We receive compliments all the time about how our 2016 trailer still looks brand new. We would like to keep it that way and we would like to continue to be able to share this wonderful experience with others. I do keep eco-friendly cleaning products in the camper and simply ask that you please give the floor a quick sweep, wipe down the counters and please clean any dirty dishes and put away before making the trip back so they are safe and secure. We do not want to have to start charging a cleaning fee or threaten deposits, etc, And if everyone just exerts a little respect and kindness we can keep the unit looking great for everyone at a great value and price.
DUMPING: We understand not everyone knows how to dump and that not every campground offers a dump station. With this in mind, we try to be reasonable and offer you a $50 dump fee in the event you are unable to do this yourself.
We do also have a propane fire pit that can be rented if you do not want to deal with a wood fire. In the event of a fire ban, you will find a propane fire is the ONLY kind allowed. We rent this for $15.00 and it comes with an extra propane tank full and ready to go. If you have kiddos that have their heart set on roasting marshmallows tho, we do not recommend this kind of fire. Trust us - we have learned from experience that cooking marshmallows over the propane fire does NOT usually turn out. You will not want to cook over this in any way. But if you just want to sit out beneath the stars and stay warm by the glow of the fire, you will love this pit.
Lastly, we have a 12x12 Easy-Up portable awning that can be rented for $25.00. This comes in handy in the event you need extra shade over the picnic table at your campsite or if you're going to be at the lake, etc.
