Koosharem RV Park is only a short drive from the lake and offers a verity of amenities and facilities. Full hookups are provided here, including 20, 30, 50 amp electric, water, and sewer. Facilities include a dump station and flushing toilets. Pets are more than welcome at this RV park but must be kept on a leash at all times.

Exploring the Area

Fremont Indian State Park and Museum is only a few miles west of Fish Lake and offers an interesting day out for campers, providing insight as well as entertainment. The museum has a wide range of exhibitions showcasing the history of the Fremont Indians, a Native American people who settled in this area from the year 400 to 1300. The museum has thousands of ancient artifacts on display and will leave visitors with a wider understanding of these unique people and the history of the United States itself.

A drive west will take campers to the town on Monroe and the ‘Mystic Hot Springs’ founded by an artist by the name of Mike Ginsburg. Built on top of naturally heated springs in the Utah desert, this place has famously become a retreat for those looking for something off the beaten track. A drive north from Fish Lake will take campers to the small town of Salina, home of ‘Miss Mary’s Historical Museum.' This unique independent museum offers visitors the chance to learn more about Salina and the surrounding area’s history. The building itself is a historical landmark, having been built in the late 19th century as a Presbyterian Church and later a school. The museum is full of original artifacts from early settlers, showing their everyday life after settling in Utah.
