Immediately north of Salt Lake City is the small suburban bedroom community of North Salt Lake. The community is sandwiched between the Wasatch Mountains to the east and the Great Salt Lake to the west. The town began as a simple railway stop and a few shops near Interstate 15 and slowly accumulated more people as time went on.
