About the host, LetsGo Campers!
Good camper, bigger than I expected but small enough to drive no problem.
We hired Seymour, a 1986 Chevy for two weeks travelling around Vancouver Island April 2019.
Pick up was arranged around us which was really helpful as we had loads of luggage. Unforeseen & unavoidable circumstances led to a slightly late pick up but the communication was good throughout, with welcome texts/emails a couple of days before and direct numbers to call.
We had an amazing time, the van was perfect size for us as a couple and we could have been away much longer. It had everything we needed, and a few bits we personally like to have we just picked up in a thrift shop for a few dollars. We’d bought our own sleeping bags which we needed in the cooler weather as well as the duvet but apart from that everything was provided and once we’d stocked up with food we were on our way. Seymour had loads of admiring comments from other tourists and locals alike, and we loved being able to park in town and supermarket car parks with no worries, and not having ‘tourist’ signwritten all over the van! Mechanically he never let us down.
Be warned - this is not for everyone! We love being away in a van, finding the quirks of older vehicles, not bothered about driving fast (we’re on holiday!).We find it refreshing to not having every bit of kitchen equipment to hand, to realise how much stuff you actually need to live and how inventive you can be. But if you need everything spotless and modern and all mod cons this is probably not for you!
We’d use this company again and would certainly recommend it to those people with a bit of adventure and self sufficiency, who are looking for good value and good service.

We had a memorable trip with "Seymore" -
Let's Go staff was very reactive and when we had trouble with the solar panel, even offered to travel far away to come and repair
We are already missing the van
Not only was the van well stocked and had more features than listed... the owner was amazing to deal with, super accommodating. This booking made my first outdoorsy booking a great one!! Thank you!
