Other things to note
This camper is NOT allowed to travel up crater road to the Haleakala national park summit or , visitors center.
This Van does not travel on The dirt road on the back side passed Hana.
The van can travel to Hana via the North shore route through Paia and Haiku as far as Kipahulu National park and back the same way to Paia
If you plan on staying over night on the Hana side of the the island you must have a reservation or accommodation pre reserved.

I can also provide to help getting in to a locally owned private camp ground

travel Up Crater road toward the summit or visitors center of Haleakala National Park At no time will any Camper be driver north of hwy 377 (upper Kula rd )
camper will not travel beyond Kipahulu to the section of Hana hey that’s is Dirt and un leveled gravel
And shall not travel beyond Ulapalakula as far as the Honey Bee Sanctuary
