2007 Thor Motor Coach Four Winds Majestic
We took the RV off the market for a few months while we did some refurbishing and enjoyed the desert season. We added 430w of solar charging with 2 lithium batteries and a 1k inverter so that you can watch tv, play playstation or charge devices while cruising down the road without running the generator. We also moved the TV to the front behind the passenger and added a soundbar with sub. The tires are all new and the entire front brake system was redone.We purchased our RV so that my family and I could take road trips and enjoy time with friends and family. We were outgrowing our pop-up tent trailer and wanted something self contained. The top request was a bathroom!I specifically chose this unit because it is under 30' in total length which means it is allowed in nearly all National Parks. The length makes it very easy to drive because the rear overhang isn't nearly as long as the 30'+ units. If you've driven a moving van you can easily drive this. One nice benefit versus the shorter RV's is that it also has a completely separate rear bedroom and shower/restroom area that can be closed off from the rest of the RV for privacy.The previous owners were retirees from Switzerland. For many years they would fly in, drive it around the US/Canada for a few months and fly home. It has been to 49 states and all the Canadian provinces. It has been impeccably maintained on the manufacturer's recommended schedule, even during trips. I have a 2" thick stack of documented services and receipts for thousands of dollars in preventative maintenance.Mechanically, this RV is in terrific shape. I installed brand new HD Bilstein shocks, steering stabilizer and Hellwig anti-sway bars to eliminate the wallowing so common in most RVs. The ball joints in the front suspension have also been redone and it tracks straight and smooth with no surprises. The tires are all brand new and I will ensure they're all correctly inflated before you set off. It has brand a new Interstate battery under the hood.Inside, we've added a brand new queen memory foam mattresses for the bed and above the cab. Amenities include a convection oven, microwave, A.C., heater, shower, and a large capacity fridge that runs on propane or electric. It has an Onan 4k watt generator that was recently serviced and runs perfectly.Driving the RV is very easy and the cab area is no different than driving an e450 van. The V10 motor and 5 speed transmission give plenty of low end power and it will cruise easily at 65mph. You can expect to get about 8mpg in mixed driving, a bit better on the freeway if you keep the speed down. It is set up to tow a trailer with 7 pin connector and a trailer brake. It has a reverse camera with a dedicated screen to make it easier to back into tight spots and I will also include 2 handheld radios to make it easier for you to communicate with the person helping you park.We will include all of our pots, pans, utensils, etc. In the storage we have several chairs, an umbrella, a folding table, badminton set, and booster pack (jumper cables/tire inflator.) I have a portable gas grill that can be set up very easily for meals and a propane cylinder with adapter to make grilling away from the RV simple.To make first-time rental easier, the RV comes with full instructions on how to operate each system in the RV. Additionally, I will personally review each system with you and give you tips on how to manage them for a trouble-free experience. I'll be available by text or cell during your entire trip. You can also opt for roadside assistance for $15/day through outdoorsy to completely cover you from anything unforeseen.We aren't trying to get rich renting our RV. We won't nickle and dime you with add-ons and fees. Our goal is to let others experience the fun and enjoyment of trying an RV as easily as possible. We include unlimited generator usage and we'll even provide the option for you to return it with dirty tanks. This allows you to have an easy, trouble free experience no different than a rental car.
