Every weekend features a special theme and planned activities.The campsites at the Harbour Village Campground can be shaded or sunny, with pull-through or back-in access. Sites offer electric and water hookups, fire rings, and picnic tables. Other campground amenities include restrooms and showers, laundry facilities, and a camp store.The Great OutdoorsYou’ll be near the Potawatomi State Park when you're RV camping at the Harbour Village Campground and Water Park. This park is named after the Native American tribe that lived here hundreds of years ago. It is the head of the Ice Age National Scenic Trail. It features dense forests of beech, sugar maple, basswood, white pine, red pine, and white birch. Foxes, white-tailed deer, raccoons, gray squirrels, chipmunks, opossum, and over 50 species of songbirds live here. Recreational opportunities include winter snow sports, hiking trails, biking, hunting and trapping, picnicking, and fishing. Canoe, kayak, paddleboat, and bike rentals are available seasonally. Naturalist programs, guest speakers, and musicians are featured from Memorial Day through Labor Day.The Gardner Swamp State Wildlife Area near Brussels is also easily accessible with your Sturgeon Bay camper rental. This 1,180-acre property is a Conservation Opportunity Area and consists primarily of lowland forest and marsh as well as some upland. The marsh area is critical to the endangered Hine's emerald dragonfly. Recreational opportunities here include hiking, cross-country skiing, hunting and trapping, bird watching, wild edibles gathering, wildlife viewing, and nature photography.Peninsula State Park is a great way to experience the great outdoors with your rental motorhome near the Harbour Village Campground and Water Park. This state park is open all year round and features eight miles of shoreline, two state natural areas, and spectacular dolomite bluffs. The White Cedar Nature Center offers taxidermied birds and mammals, a stuffed black bear, nostalgic photos, a park store, and educational and interpretive programming for all ages. The Northern Sky Theatre puts on family-friendly performances. Recreational opportunities here include an 18-hole golf course, lighthouse tours, hiking, biking, swimming, fishing, hunting and trapping, sledding and tubing, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing, snowmobiling, and picnicking. Fishing poles, canoes, kayaks, and bikes are available for rent seasonally. There is a park store with a seasonal snack bar.

What type of RV should I choose?

Start by determining how many people are planning to travel with you. Going on a solo-journey? Choose a camper van or a teardrop trailer. Bringing the whole family along for the ride? Consider a spacious Class A or five-wheel.

Do the RVs have bathrooms?

A.

Yes. Class A’s, Class B’s, and Class C’s and five-Wheels typically have bathrooms. Depending on where you plan on camping, you’ll want to double-check the availability of restrooms if selecting a rig without a bathroom. Nervous about renting an RV with a bathroom? Owners can help show you how to clean the tank or will offer to do it for you for a fee.

How does check-in work?

A.

Once an Owner approves your RV reservation, you can coordinate a time to pick up your rig or have it delivered to your doorstep or campsite. At that point, the owner will do a key exchange with you and walk you through the RV and answer any questions you might have.
