The Great Outdoors

Devils's Lake State Park is only a short drive from Merry Mac's Campground and is the third oldest and largest state park in Wisconsin. The park consists of the 350-acre Devil's Lake, surrounded by massive quartzite cliffs that overlook the area, giving visitors beautiful panoramic views of the park. This park is a popular destination for hiking, with over 29 miles of trails which lead around the lake as well as through woodlands and meadows, or up to the rocky cliffs for a more challenging trek. The lake itself offers lots of water sports including kayaking, canoeing, and swimming. This state park features Mirror Lake, which gets its name due to the calmness of its waters.
