I realize this was the weekend of the Eclipse. We rented our initial RV last May, but the host cancelled on us in February. The choices were not as abundant in February. Host seemed nice. Very apologetic when promised items were not available. Host was aware that we were on private land with no hook ups (water, electricity). Host was to provide a generator for the rented days. On the delivery day was made aware there would be no generator or running water available in the RV provided. He was not happy but allowed the use of toilet for #1 only and no TP. Said generator broke the month before. Said there would be additional fee for trying to locate a generator. He did provide an extension cord that we used for our friend's generator to have light to get ready for bed for a few minutes. I am glad we had mild weather. RV was safe and dry. Host did provide a new set of bedding for the one mattress that was not expected.
