RV rental Black Rock Mountain State Park, GA: Motorhome rentals, camper van rentals and more

RV camping at Black Rock Mountain State Park is a great way for a family to reconnect and get outdoors. The park offers many different activities that families can enjoy together, namely hiking. Five main trails wind through the park, offering different scenery, lengths, and difficulties. Hikers looking for a challenge will want to try the James E. Edmond Trail, a strenuous seven-mile loop that's very steep in several places. Those looking for an easy stroll through the park should look to the Black Rock Lake Trail, a loop that's just under a mile long and provides spectacular views of Black Rock Lake. A new trend among state park visitors is geocaching. Treasure hunters all over the country are renting an RV and heading out to as many state and national parks as they can to search for geocaches. Geocaching is very much like a scavenger hunt, except you don't take the treasure with you. Instead, you log it online and snap photos for your social media accounts as proof of your geocaching prowess. Black Rock Mountain State Park has several geocaches hidden throughout the park. Fishing at Black Rock Mountain State Park is a great way to enjoy a relaxing afternoon. Lake Walter F. George is even known as the "Bass Fishing Capital of the World." Pack your fishing tackle in your rental RV to try your luck reeling in trout and a record-breaking bass. Georgia law requires anyone 16 years or older to obtain a fishing license, which you can purchase online.
