The longest is the Lone Star Hiking Trail, which stretches over 128 miles, winding through pine and hardwood forests and around the perimeter of three distinct lakes. Several trails are multi-use, open to bikes and horses. One trail is also open to four-wheel off-roading vehicles like Jeeps. Canoes and paddleboats can be rented for fishing at Double Lake. All the lakes in this park are known for abundant fishing, especially black bass. During the hunting season, hikers and other outdoor adventurers are advised to wear blaze orange and exercise caution.
