The Great Outdoors

The town of Oxford was named for a narrowing in the Choccolocco Creek that allowed farmers to ford their cattle across. So, it could be a good idea to visit the creek that gave the town its name. Choccolocco Park is a wooded park built along the creek. There are hiking trails as well as picnic areas. There’s also a playground for children.

This is my first time using Outdoorsy. My family and I always do our family reunion around the Fourth of July weekend. Last year we drove an RV from Connecticut to the site. This year we decided to do something new. We had the pleasure of finding Brandon and his family’s RV on Outdoorsy for our experience this year 2026 and I can honestly say that overall our experience was great. Brandan and his family had the RV prepared for us with minor items needed such as linens, wash clothes, towels, pots, and pans, salt and pepper for food if needed dishes to accommodate as well. Brandon gave us a walk-through of the RV how to use, what needs to be done, as well as very detailed about the RV and information in order to keep the RV maintained throughout our experience. My family and I had the RV for a whole week. We was in the RV in 115 degree weather one day and even rained while we was at our site. The RV AC worked perfectly. My family was able to take showers accordingly if needed and we were comfortable. The space was very accommodating as well. Brandon was very accommodating with delivery and pick up of the RV. He accommodated every need from beginning to end. I’m so grateful that we chose them as our host special THANKS to Brandon and his family for allowing us to utilize his RV for a whole week for my family reunion this year 2026 on the Davidson Ranch. 🥳

The hosts were wonderful. Our set up was a little difficult but they took the time to do it well. The camper itself was very well stocked and met all expectations. I highly recommend booking with Carolina Gualdron.
