One of the biggest draws for tourists to DeGray Lake Resort State Park is the full-service marina that has a launch ramp, fuel station, snack bar, and equipment rentals. Park your rental RV at the state park campgrounds and head out onto the water in your boat. You can rent jet skis, water skis, boats, paddle boats, kayaks, and canoes, then spend the day splashing in the water. Guided interpretive boat tours are also available that lead you around the lake and surrounding natural areas.
Spend the night RV camping at DeGray Lake Resort State Park and then head out on the trails that wind throughout the park first thing in the morning. These scenic trails offer great views of the lake and surrounding forest. All trails are one mile or less in length and are easy to hike, except the moderate Towering Pines Trail, which is half a mile long and loops through the forest lining the edge of the lake. Visitors can hike the trails alone or join one of the many guided tours offered by the park rangers. Bicycles and motorized vehicles aren't allowed on the trails.

The DeGray Lake Golf Course is an 18-hole public course that is challenging even to the pros with its sloping greens and concealed water hazards. The scenic views of the lake and forest add to the beauty of the pristine golf course. Golf instructors are on hand to offer lessons for those needing added instruction. If you don't have your own gear, you can rent some clubs from the on-site pro shop.

Full hookups with electric, water, and sewer are available for motorhomes. Heated showers and flush toilets are within walking distance of most of the campsites. Hot Springs National Park is a wonderful place to visit and relax in the 47 hot springs that run throughout the park. Spend an afternoon at one of the bathhouses soaking in the warm, healing waters.

The mission of Garvan Woodland Gardens is to preserve and enhance the Ouachita environment. An interesting and unique stop to make in Hot Springs is the Gangster Museum of America. When you walk into the museum, you'll be transported into the 1920s when gangsters ran the black market in bootlegging, mineral water, and gambling. While walking through the museum, you'll experience audiovisuals of past eras. There are seven distinct galleries to wander through and even gamble in an authentic 1920s gambling hall. Actors dressed for the era will detail fascinating details about specific gangsters who at one time made Hot Springs, Arkansas their home.
