Drives well with good mileage
The 1997 Sprinter is reliable, easy to drive, handles well (even on mountains), and averages 17-18 MPG. It's roomy yet fits regular parking. However, the bed is short for guests over 5'8"-5'10" with a thin mattress.

5.0Amazing experience! Flew in from Colorado, airport trip from hell, was delayed 11 hours. Finally got to Portland and Khaled graciously allowed us to pick up the van late at night! My wife and I had a beautiful trip all the way down the coast via the 101 past Eureka, CA into the redwoods. Attended a close friends magical wedding amongst the giant trees, and drove back up the coast enjoying the most fabulous campsites and seafood the West Coast offers! The van performed beautifully and had such a cozy, homey vibe, definitely made the trip memorable! Averaged about 17mpg which was better than I was expecting, especially with gas prices as high as they are right now! Khaled checked in towards the end and drop-off was simple; great guy, would have loved to of had the time to buy him a beer! All in all, had an absolute blast and was a road trip my wife and I will cherish for life! 10/10!! PS, writing this at 34,000 ft with Southwest WiFi after being delayed, once again, for 7 hours, lol

3.0Khaled is a warm, cheerful, owner. The van is 30 years old. It was the least expensive van I found in the Portland area. Enough said.

5.0My host was very personable and helpful with instructions. Working with him was a pleasure. But if I was any taller than 5 foot seven, I would not have been able to stand up in the RV and the bed would’ve been too short. Otherwise, it was perfect for my needs.
