Review summary

Supportive and highly responsive
Lela and Keith are praised for prompt communication, providing detailed walkthroughs, and support for first-time RV users. They are also flexible with pickup/dropoff. One renter reported Keith becoming unresponsive during a damage dispute regarding the awning.
Easy to drive and maneuver
The RV is noted for being easy to steer, drive, and park, even for first-timers. It is spacious with a slide-out, generally clean, and fully stocked with essentials. Issues cited include shot house batteries, a finicky oven, and recurring awning problems.

1.0we started out with looked to be a wonderful trip, a simple, four days away, in which we (4 adults) would use the RV as a base camp alone during a bike race we would be participating in. Keith, the owner, was very communicative at first, and did a full walk through the camper, including taking pictures. However, he did not at any time open the awning, nor discuss anything about the awning, we were very upfront that we had no intention or need to use it. Upon returning from our trip, both the driver and the owner walked through the camper, and agreed that everything looked great, he even offered us a discount if we made our next rental arrangement through him, directly, not Outdoorsy. Shady, indeed. At no point was the awning opened, again, as it had neither been needed, opened, nor used, during our trip. Upon returning home, I received notice from Outdoorsy two days later that he was withholding our $2000 security damage, claiming that there had been damaged to the awning. Again, the awning that he never opened, nor we never used. He had mentioned that he very recently took the RV to the Indy 500. It is very clear that the owner had damaged the awning himself during their trip, and tried to assign the damage, and the cost for such repairs, to us as renters. When confronted, he was no longer communicative, in fact, did not respond at all. Thankfully, Outdoorsy did a wonderful job of investigating and representing us as clients, and our security deposit was ultimately returned. I would stay far away from this RV, which quite honestly isn’t really in the greatest condition.

5.0We rented this RV for my son's 10th birthday as a father/son trip and were totally blown away not only by the quality and condition of the RV but also the hospitality of Keith and Lela. As a first time RV renter, I had lots of questions up front regarding what was stocked and what to expect, and they were quick to reply and help me feel at ease. Really all of the functions of the vehicle were very easy to figure out, and while it is a big rig, it was a lot easier to steer, maneuver, and manipulate than I had assumed. The campsite had 30amp electrical connection and water hookup making the RV feel like home with things like AC, external water, and even a sound system. The space inside with the bump-out was awesome and could easily fit a larger family for 4-6, but my son and I had all the space we needed and then some. The bedding was comfortable, the kitchen worked well, and the bathroom was actually bigger than I expected. My son loved sleeping under the stars, looking out the window of the bed above the cabin. Thank you Keith and Lela for ensuring we had a great trip and great first RV experience!

5.0First time RV renters and the owners made it so easy. RV was very well equipped. Owners responded promptly with any questions we had beforehand and while we were on the road. Very comfortable ride and totally made us fall in love with the RV travel life- This will not be our last experience!

4.0This was our first RV rental. Lela was great to work with throughout the entire process. From the walk through to the pickup, she was professional and concerned about our needs. This specific camper had some issues that prevented full use of the resource. We were advised not to even try using the awning and the house batteries were shot, making the first night before we could arrange shore power a bit challenging. This was a great way to try out the RV lifestyle without buying the RV.
