The Shasta-Trinity National Forest sprawls over two million acres of incredible evergreen paradise, with over 6,000 miles of streams and rivers. Five wilderness areas, hundreds of alpine lakes, and dozens of campgrounds comprise this stunning natural area in northern California. Ahjumawi-Lava Springs State Park is also within day-tripping distance of the campsites at Antlers RV Park & Campground. Between its impressive wildlife, its historic fish traps left behind by native tribes, gorgeous waterfront, and its famed lava formations, this park has everything you could hope for and more. You can go hiking, fishing, swimming, boating, or kayaking while visiting this amazing state park, and there are even a few campsites if you want to stay a few extra days. Lassen Volcanic National Park is just over an hour's drive southeast of Antlers RV Park & Campground. This volcanic wonderland is home to all four of the major volcano types, with Lassen Peak serving as its most prominent feature. You can learn about the inner workings of the park's volcanic features by exploring its lava fields on foot or climbing its rocky features. Camping is an option at the park, so visitors interested in these unique rupture remnants can spend some extra time exploring.
