There are two options to choose from when it comes to setting up camp with your rental RV close to Castaic Lake. Sitting on the western shores of Castaic Lagoon is Castaic Lake Campground, a primitive site with 65 campsites, many of which can accommodate RV’s. Best for those who are self-contained, the Castaic Lake Campground offers no hookup or washroom facilities. However, the serenity and tranquility of this location will soon have you forgetting about those home comforts.
Exploring the Area
Just a twenty-minute drive down Interstate Route 5 is the charming town of Santa Clarita, full of interesting and family-friendly activities. One of the most popular-activities in Santa Clarita is the Six Flags Magic Mountain, a 260-acre theme park. With over one hundred different attractions here, including nineteen rollercoasters, there will be something to entertain the whole family. Open every single day of the year, visit during Halloween or Christmas to witness the park adorned with seasonal decorations and themed performances.

This was truly a seamless and easy experience and really a wonderful way to be introduced to Outdoorsy. My experience with Adam and his spouse was all around pleasant and lovely and they went above and beyond to make sure I was knowledgeable about all the ins and outs of their RV and really took the time to ensure that the RV was set up well and balanced. As for the RV, what a really lovely unit! It was adorable inside, clean and so comfortable. You can see how much love they put into decorating and furnishing the RV and it truly is home away from home. I would definitely rent this again! I just regret that I didn’t take photos to share!

Had a fabulous trip with my pup Ash, all thanks to Patrick and Arthur lending their beautiful Guinevere campervan to us! We made it up to Oregon from LA, and back down thru Lake Tahoe, Yosemite, and the Sequoias without any major issues -- she was lovely to drive and the perfect companion to Ash and I on our journey. Patrick and Arthur were incredibly kind and easygoing with the entire rental process. Highly recommend for anyone looking to road trip with their furry friend.

My van broke down in the middle of the trip and I had to use the Outdoorsy Roadside assistance, it was such a good experience and we had support the whole way and Outdoorsy helped us to tow the van to an auto mechanic to get fixed.
