Point Dume State Beach rests on the edge of the city of Malibu, CA, and overlooks the Pacific Ocean and Santa Monica Bay. It was named after Francisco Dumetz by British officer George Vancouver. During the 1800s, the beach was used by whaling companies. After World War II, locals headed out to plant flowers and trees around the beach before the land was taken over for real estate development. A few films were also shot here, including Planet of the Apes. Today, the beach is a protected area.

Just dreamy🥰
The van has everything. Filtered drinking water faucet, extra counter space, backup camera. And things a first time renter might not think of like chairs, or if you just forgot the paper towels. They already have it packed for you!
The interior is thoughtfully designed and decorated. It feels like a warm hug when you enter with cozy accents and snuggly pillows.
Anita and Josh are amazing hosts! I was surprised with a birthday banner and thoughtful gift on pick up. Plus they were always available for questions and recommendations.
My most dreamy moment was laying warm and cozy in bed, staring at the beautiful landscape of Joshua Tree NP, while my partner made us coffee.

Austin is a great host! The van was clean and just as advertised. Was clean and Austin took the time to walk us through the van and all its options. When renting ask for the extra mattress topper because it’s very very comfortable. Everything worked as expected and didn’t fail us at all. We drove from Seal
