The Great Outdoors

With your Soda Springs luxury RV rental, you're just a short distance from some of the area's most spectacular sights. Soda Springs is located within the Tahoe National Forest and is just a short drive from Lake Tahoe. In the winter, the park is an outstanding winter sports destination with many popular downhill ski resorts and extensive snowmobile and cross-country skiing trails. During the summer months, there are plenty of hiking trails to be discovered, including part of the Pacific Crest Trail. Spend the day hiking or mountain biking out to some of the many lakes, mountain tops and rivers, enjoy wildflower meadows in the fresh mountain air and relax and recharge with a picnic. Thanks to the park's many lakes, there are abundant opportunities for water sports, such as water skiing, boating, and paddle boarding. Whitewater rafting stretches are also accessible on the Yuba, Truckee, and American Rivers, as well as calmer, more relaxing stretches. Visit the Granite Chief Wilderness Area, located on the west shore of Lake Tahoe, North America's largest alpine lake. With over 24,000 acres of protected wilderness, hiking is a popular way to see the impressive 9,000-foot granite peaks from the lush sub-alpine meadows. Hike to the summit of Granite Chief itself for incredible views of the entire area. You could also take the aerial tram from Squaw Valley to High Camp and cut short part of this challenging trek.

RV Parks

If you'd like to park your Soda Springs RV rental in the area, you'll have plenty of nearby RV parks to choose from. You could check out Cisco Grove Campground and RV Park, located within Soda Springs itself, just off the I-80. The campground has an on-site store and laundromat, as well as showers and restrooms. You can choose between basic back-in sites with partial hookups or premium pull-through sites with full hookups. There are also dump stations available. Sites are mainly in a forested area, complete with picnic tables and BBQs which are removed during the winter due to the snowy conditions. There are numerous trails available, or you could spend the day fishing at nearby Fordyce Lake.

Exploring the City

Renting this trailer was a great experience top to bottom. The trailer worked perfect for our trip and everything functioned as it should. I was met for pickup and delivery by Ciara and her husband and they were both very kind and knowledgeable about the unit. Super quick and easy. A+ for both the trailer and wonderful hosts.

Easy transfer, nice van. The pop top is a little low for a big person, but still comfortable.
