2018 Forest River Cherokee Wolf Pup
Lightweight travel trailer (aka Shakira) is based in Chico, CA. She is a great starter travel trailer for those who are not sure if they'd like all the things that come with towing and setting up a trailer for a fun filled weekend away. First and foremost, she is functional. We updated the interior to allow easier access to storage (drawers under the bed and under one dinette seat). Fully stocked with all the necessities you may need. Secondly, she is comfortable. We had the mattress custom made from our local Square Deal Mattress, spared no expense in this area and she is quite dreamy! Sleep is Very important to us, especially after a day of travel and hiking. Comfortably sleeps two adults with a short queen mattress and a child and/or short adult on the dinette fold down sleep area (I'm 5'7" and have slept cozied up on it without any problem). My husband, myself and our two small dogs (13lbs and 30lbs) can all fit on the mattress at night, very cozy but doable. My husband is 6 ft tall and when he's laying fully straight in bed, his feet do hang off the mattress a little bit, if legs are bent and cozied up a little, they don't hang off. Gas stove, fridge, freezer, heater, water heater can all be ran off propane (included). Radio and usb outlets (charging phones, etc) can be ran off battery. The air conditioner and microwave are the only appliances that require electric hookup other than standard plugs for additional "fancy" appliances such as a coffee pot or instant pot (not included).The bathroom has a sink, vanity, mirror/medicine cabinet, toilet (separate from shower) and a shower/tub. And when I say tub, I mean size for a small child to take a bath or for a small pet to rinse off in, tub/bath definitely not for an adult. I shower comfortably in it. Shower caddy provided for toiletries for portability and so items don't slide around while driving.Standard specs here: What's includedFresh linens, towels for four people, dog towels, extra blankets, two Tommy Bahama backpack chairs, everything you need for full hookups (hose with high grade filter, sewer line, 30 amp power cable, leveling blocks, sewer hose). Hello there :) We are so excited to share our love for glamping with all of you! For the past three years our family (husband/wife/baby/dogsx2) have grown to love sneaking away for the weekend to enjoy our next adventure. Heading to the California coast is probably our favorite outing with Shakira (our rig). Basically any destination with good weather, beautiful views and delicious wines are dream spots for us. Q.I've never camped in an RV before, can you show me how everything works?
A.
Absolutely! We always do walkthroughs with our guests. All questions will be answered to your satisfaction before you get the keys. We will go over how to hookup to water, sewer and power as well :)
Q.What items are included in the bathroom?
A.
Bathroom: Bath towels x4, bathroom hand towels x4, bathroom wash clothes x4, toilet paper, hand soap, shower caddy, RV toilet drop in pods. Leave the used towels in the trailer when you're done and we'll take care of the rest!
Q.Do you provide linens?
A.
Yes, full linens (sheets, blanket, pillows and pillow cases) provided for both the queen mattress and dinette sleeper. Leave dry used linens in the drawer under the bed, and we'll wash and return to their rightful place. Extra blanket provided as well as two extra sleeping bags for those very cold nights. Four dogs towels provided for our furry friends; above the dinette.
Q.What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?
A.
We are pretty flexible with pick up and drop off as long as we do not have back to back renters or conflicting work schedules. Please reach out if you would like/need a little more flexibility. If you don't ask, the answer is always no... so please ask! We are just as excited as you are to make your trip a memorable one!
