The Odetah Camping Resort is located in Bozrah, which is in east-central Connecticut. The resort is situated only about 20 miles north of the shores of the Atlantic Ocean, and a similar distance west of its neighboring state, Rhode Island. The nearest larger town is Norwich, which is a short drive of fewer than 10 miles to the southwest. The nearest larger city is also the state's capital, Hartford, which is a little over 30 miles to the northwest.

Odetah Camping Resort is open May through November, and it offers options for both short-term and seasonal stays. Pets are welcome here, as well. The campground also provides pool and spa access, a mini-golf course, games such as horseshoes and volleyball, an on-site store, cafe, and ice cream shop and a playground for the kids. The campsites offer a variety of hookup options, as well as WiFi. The resort also has its own private beach, as it sits on the banks of a small lake that is found nearby. The Great Outdoors

Yantic Falls is found in Norwich. A short walk through the woods will take you to this scenic site. It is known for being especially photogenic during fall when leaf colors are at their peak. There is a footbridge that allows a great view of the falls, and it can be seen both from the top and the bottom.

George Washington is said to have slept in the house where the museum is housed. The Slater Memorial Museum is also in that town. This and the Blue Slope Country Museum, in Franklin, highlight the history of the general region.
