Driving the RV:
Class C's are fairly simple to drive, not so different than a moving van or truck. If possible, choose an empty parking lot or a deserted street for your first drive. Your Class C Motorhome fits perfectly in the street or highway lanes. You don't have to be afraid that it's too big for the road.

Tips to guide you as you prepare for driving a Class C motorhome for the first time.
-Do a test run.
-Slow down.
-Avoid U-Turns.
-Drive with confidence.
-Parking your Class C is easier with a partner.
-Be smart and courteous parking your Class C.
-Drive in the middle or right lane
-Stay between 60-75 mph on the highway
-Keep two hands on the steering wheel (wind can blow you slightly to the side when truck pass by you)
-Get familiar with the side mirrors
-Be aware of the RV height. (no drive-throughs, small parking garages etc)

Recommendations

*We are conveniently located 15 minutes from the Fort Lauderdale Airport (FLL)

Venture to the beaches in the Keys or up to the parks in Orlando. This Tioga is ready to take you and your family on a wonderful vacation. There are also beautiful natural springs and camp sites in Central Florida.

Helpful tips:
-You can find some Casinos that offer free overnight parking with all the hook ups.
-Some Walmarts and Cracker Barrels allow overnight parking for free (no hook-ups) just give the a call ahead of time
-the "roadtrippers" app is great to help map out your trip and find stops along the way (worth the $10)
-Book RV park at least 1 day before your stay. Also, most RV parks appreciate you arriving during open hours rather than after hours to be considerate to other RV's and volume control.

Other things to note

-RV is serviced with enhanced cleaning protocol
-Dogs welcome! (no puppies, no dogs over 70lbs)
-No Tailgates
-No smoking

*Please budget 30 minutes for walk around before departure

We are a family of 4 (5 by the end of the year) and we have a mini golden doodle. We love to vacation and see the world. We want our children to experience the beauty of creation and what better way to do that than by taking an RV road trip.
