RecommendationsLost Lake is definitely one of our favorite places to hang out with family. There are both hiking and water activities. We love that the lake is non-motorized water craft only!Other places in Oregon that we love are Smith Rock State Park, the coast including the Oregon dunes and Cobble Beach, Crater Lake, and Mt. Hood.Really there are so many places to explore depending on what your interests are. Other things to notePet interview required for renters wishing to bring dog. No other pets allowed. Two dogs max. We're the Johnston family. We live on a farm in the heart of the Willamette Valley. My husband has been a farmer his whole life, and I've been a teacher and a mom. We have two daughters, one who is a voracious reader and the other who is an avid musician. We have 12 goats that you're more than welcome to feed some treats to before heading off on your RV adventure!
We love traveling, hiking, paddle boarding, playing games, watching movies, and hanging out with extended family. We feel very fortunate that we live in such a beautiful state that is so full of a variety of landscapes and outdoor activities.
Our RV stays indoors right here on our centrally located farm. We're an hour from the coast, an hour from Portland, an hour from Corvallis, two hours from Eugene, two hours from Mt. Hood, and three hours to the Sisters/Bend/Sunriver area. We're about 30 minutes away from Spirit Mountain Casino and an hour from Chinook Winds Casino. Mount Rainier National Park, Olympic National Park, and Crater Lake National Park are within 3 to 4 hours from here. Redwoods National Park and North Cascades National Park are about 6 hours south and north respectively. We're also right down the road from Evergreen Aviation and Space Museum and Wings and Waves Waterpark.
