Thor 23U Thor Freedom Elite, 24’ and very easy to drive. Just throw in your personal items and go! Lots of items included in the rental such as cookware, utensils, clean bedding, toilet stuff and memory foam mattress and toppers. Lots of storage beneath. Instructional videos on all features. Feel free to leave your car at our house stress free, load and unload etc.
approximately 1hr east from Sac airport, near Folsom lake. No I won’t come pick you up so find an Uber etc.
If you need something extra just ask, I may have it in my garage, at no extra cost unless you break it. Renters are constantly breaking things and it takes a little time to fix it.
What's includedBedsheets for 3 beds, 4 pillows or more, blankets. Pots/pans, basic utensils, A portable table and 2 chairs. All basic needs are met. Available upon request— more chairs, tables, ice chests, camping stuff, etc.
• I recommend to bring your own drinking water.
RecommendationsLots of cool places to go camping nearby, and the rv is easy to navigate for a road trip. This size RV (24) is allowed in every campsite that I know of, but be wary while booking a site.
• the RV will generally not come with freshwater in the tank, you will need to consider whether your campsite has access to freshwater or not before arriving there.
• this RV is comfortable, but it will never be perfect so if you are the type that has lots of small complaints, probably isn’t for you.
Other things to noteAbsolutely no smoking/vaping of any kind in the rv. If you’re an outside smoker, chances are high that you will leave trace odors in the rv making it hard for future renters. If we smell it, you will be charged lots of extra money. I will smell it a mile away.
I make this as easy as possible for both sides, don't ruin anything and we will be totally fine.
Towing capacity- start deducting all your people and gear from 3500 lbs and you're left with the towing amount.

Quickly responsive, flexible, and helpful

Adam is praised for quick responses, providing instructional videos, and being flexible with pickup/drop-off. However, one booking was canceled on the day of departure.

Drives comfortably like a U-Haul

Drives comfortably like a U-Haul. However, recent reviews detail significant exterior damage, a missing awning, taped repairs (ladder, black tank hose), outdated tags, and no leveling blocks. A non-working generator, a tire blowout, and light stocking were also reported.

The RV ran great. Everything worked well. Easy pick up and drop off. Adam was easy to get ahold of. I recommend renting from Adam.

The host Adam was nice throughout the whole experience. The reason for the 1 star rating is because the RV is not in any condition to be rented out, it is in need of some serious repairs and TLC. The outside looks nothing like it does in the photos, there is damages throughout the exterior. Including absolutely no awning because owner said someone ripped it off. Which an awning would have been nice considering in the description it says it has one and we got stuck in down pour rain. Back ladder is completely bent and unusable and there is bright orange duct tape holding things on. Also the hose to empty the black tank leaked when emptying due to it being held together with tape...that was a mess! There are no leveling blocks, so we were unlevel the whole time which made the shower and sinks not drain properly. The RV tags are from 2024, which would have been a pain if we got pulled over for it. Overall, we were very disappointed in the RV considering the nightly cost. I do not recommend renting due to false advertisement in the photos and owners lack of wanting to make much needed repairs. Not trying to rant, but just want to make people aware because if we knew of the condition we would have not rented this RV! See my photos for reference of current condition of RV.

Adam was very responsive. He answered all of our questions quickly. He sent us instructional videos about the RV. I am so happy we were in an RV rather than a tent at Grover Hot Springs state park campground. The first night was like a safari as we huddled inside the RV watching a bold, active, friendly bear get food from people cooking around the campfire and then get rained out the second night. It was wonderful having and indoor restroom and stove! I wish I had asked him for a 15 minute orientation before we left. We had to figure some things out along the way. Overall it was wonderful!

We had an incredible trip exploring Half Moon Bay, Yosemite, and Sierra National Forest, and the RV was a great way to travel. It was easy to drive—similar to a U-Haul—and handled long distances comfortably. Adam was wonderful to work with: very responsive, flexible with pick-up and drop-off, and provided clear, easy-to-follow instructions. He made the rental process smooth from start to finish. There were a few hiccups along the way that affected the overall experience. The generator didn’t work the first night, which made things a bit uncomfortable. Later in the trip, we had a tire blowout and needed roadside assistance. While help eventually came, communication through the Outdoorsy platform was inconsistent. It seemed like support reps weren’t all on the same page, and at one point I was unexpectedly marked as “unverified” as a driver despite having recently completed another rental through Outdoorsy with no issues and speaking to a rep prior where we were verified. That created some confusion and delays during a stressful moment. The RV was lightly stocked, so we ended up bringing our own towels, bedding, dishes, and a few kitchen basics like a sponge. It wasn’t a major issue, but something for future renters to keep in mind. All in all, the trip was memorable and Adam was fantastic, but there were a few challenges with the platform that took away from an otherwise great experience. Hopefully some of these things can be smoothed out for future renters.

We bought the RV because we love camping, but I work way too much so we don’t go as often as we should so we just rent it out in the meantime so I don’t we don’t feel terrible about owning an RV for no reason.
