Murph the Smurf: Sprinter Camper Conversion
Murph the Smurf: Sprinter Camper Conversion

“Sir Lancelot” used to save lives as an ambulance and is now retrofitted to an adventure mobile. Japanese inspired design of the van incorporates efficient use of space and multi-use. Simple and wood forward craftsmanship makes for a pleasant and meditative experience while immersing yourself in Mother Nature’s beauty. The slotted wall design allows you to hang everything from climbing gear to longboards to backpacks. There are 3 seats, and one convertible bed/ table. Lots of storage space. Vehicle is perfect for a solo outdoor warrior, couple looking to see the Southwest, or a family of 3 looking for a little adventure.
Bed linens, sleeping bags, tent, foldable table, tools, kitchen utensils, cups, plates, tupperware, toilet paper, paper towels, sunscreen, Coleman stove, propane, clean water, board games, cards, binoculars, Jetboil, camping chairs.
Highly recommend San Clemente beach camping, San Onofre beach camping, Joshua Tree, Anza Borrengo, Cuyamaca, Mt. Laguna, and Idylwild.
No smoking is allowed in the van!
Be gentle with Lance, he is NOT 4 wheel drive.
Sprinter can ONLY take regular Diesel. NO biodiesel.
The bed setup is comfortable for anyone 6 feet tall or shorter.
The interior height is 6 feet 4 inches.

Lance took us to the beach, mountains and the desert. The two of us lived comfortably for 5 days and would have loved to stay much longer. The van was easier to drive than expected, as a person who has only driven smaller vehicles. I highly recommend Lance!

Had a great 3 day road trip in Lance and he was easy go drive and mechanically sound. We’d rent again for sure. .

Loved living in Lance for 7 days! Jordan was super communicative, if I needed assistance with anything regarding the van he responded ASAP. There was anything you need for a long trip and to have an elevated camping experience. We got to take Lance into the Redwoods and it was awesome, all the other campers were jealous for sure.
