What's includedComplete van manual, 2x camp chairs, outdoor table, 2 wireless fans, heater, fresh linens, emergency kit, WiFi hotspot, utensils and dishes (Cups, coffee mugs, plates, bowls, pots and pans).RecommendationsThere are lots of places to park, plenty of campground, places to hangout at the beach, and more food options than you could ever imagine. If you are looking for perfect weather and lots of new friends, California van life is for you!(Lake Hemet Campground)
Beautiful lake, activities galore (kayaking, fishing, and camp fires), and pretty cheap per night!(Pechanga Casino)
There are plenty of casinos in the area that have RV resorts. Pechanga usually has an overflow parking lot that is separate from the resort. We've stayed there with no problem at all (for free).(Mission Beach)
It’s my favorite spot in SD because it’s right across from the beach, there are bathrooms right next to Belmont Park, and there’s a lot to do in the area.(Joshua Tree)
Joshua Tree National Park is among some of the most famous and revered landmarks in California. Camping there is at an absolute premium and one of the most sought after in the state.(San Mateo Campground)
San Mateo Campground at San Onofre State Beach is another part of California right on the edge of Southern and Central. It is known for its surfing, fishing, and kayaking. There are a ton of different activity options in this beautiful coastal area for van campers.
Other things to notePets are welcome, however we do ask that you put a sheet on the bed/couch to avoid damaging the cushions.Tailgating and festivals welcome! Please just clean up after yourself.NO SMOKING.Please do not go on rough terrain, the van is not a 4x4.We both work full time jobs, so check in and out times are normally going to be sometime before 7 AM or after 4:00 PM on Monday-Friday and anytime on Saturday-Sunday.
