Getting Outdoors

Lake Sinclair is a popular local destination for fishing, water skiing, swimming, boating, hiking, geocaching, laying out under the sun, and plenty more. As there are 15,000 acres of water to share between the guests, it is easy to see what makes this lake so popular. Guests can rent paddleboards, jet skis, and pontoon boats from onsite marinas or bring their own along with their rental RV.

Camping at Lake Sinclair

Although you won’t find any state park RV campgrounds on the shores of Lake Sinclair, there are still two extremely close campgrounds to choose from with plenty of exciting amenities and features. The Little River Park Campground is on the southwestern side of the lake and has 130 RV compatible campsites with full hookups for guests to use. These RV sites have both 30 and 50 amp service, water, sewage, and even cable TV. Of these campsites, almost 40 of them are on the waterfront with unimpeded views of the lake.

Exploring the Area

When it comes to exploring the towns in the area, you’ll have a few different options to keep you busy. To the northwest of Lake Sinclair is Eatonton, which is home to a small collection of tasty restaurants of diverse origins. You’ll find Chinese, Mexican, BBQ, Thai, southern, and other delicious options here. Also, in Eatonton is the Georgia Writers Museum, which focuses exclusively on famous authors from Georgia and emphasizes the impact they have made on their communities and the state as a whole.
