When you rent a travel trailer from Lexington, a visit to Shaking Rock Park is a treat. The park is full of natural granite outcroppings which are very impressive to see, and its location just near the southern edge of Lexington makes it easily reachable. One of the main attractions in this park is the enormous bolder, so perfectly balanced that it can be shaken with one hand, and it is this rock that gives the park its name. There are also a number of nature trails and an active beaver pond, giving lots of options for things to do.

RV Parks

Pine Lake Campground is open all year round and offers full-hookup RV sites for your camper rental from Lexington, and a wide range of amenities to suit all sorts of camper. The sites are shady, level, and spacious in a natural and peaceful setting with free WiFi hotspots, laundry facilities, a fishing dock, camp store, and much more. There are also a number of nature trails on site in which there are some good bird watching opportunities and a pet area where your dog can roam free.

Exploring the City

The Lexington Historic District, which actually covers most of the town, is listed on the National Register of Historic Places since 1977. Many people chose to pay a visit to the Historic courthouse and library to take a look at some of the old records available there. One of the best ways to see what the town has to offer is to take a self-guided walking tour, with maps available in many of the shops and attractions.
