Mileage: 200 free miles / day

We require all of our vehicles to be returned in the condition that they came. This does not mean that the vehicle has to be detailed, but it must come back clean and presentable (Exterior car wash and interior vacuum and wipe down). If the vehicle does not come back clean, then you will be subject to a full car detail fee ($350). Note - Black Bear Pass, Poughkeepsie Gulch, Pearl Pass, and Schofield Pass are prohibited in all of our rental vehicles.

My friends and I rented 3 vehicles on our first-ever overlanding experience and had an absolutely epic trip. Zach and the team did a marvelous job helping us plan, prepare and head-out fully capable. First, we had several Zoom calls planning a route based on our goals that also matched the changing weather situation. On day 1, we were met with the vehicles in pristine condition and got a tutorial on all of the gear, systems, etc. I was pleasantly surprised at how much time the team spent with us going over things. There was sense of rush and we got to ask a million questions. By the time we left we knew exactly what to do, where to go, and how to work everything from the fridges to the tire deflators. Not a thing was missing and we even received unexpected goodies to use (tables, lights, gps/nav, and sat phone). The vehicles were equally impressive. Our group is no stranger to off-roading and found each model we rented to be highly, highly capable (we had the Land Cruiser, 4Runner and Tacoma). These machines are expertly modified with top-of-the-line gear from the suspension to the tents. When you pay for an adventure like this you hope for a great experience. Rarely is everything perfect and exceed your expectations. This is one of those experiences. If you want to try overlanding and have an epic trip like we did, you won't go wrong with Colorado Overlander. As a business owner myself, I felt both compelled and obliged to leave this review as this is a company that deserves continued success.
