While camping at Stagecoach State Park, your days will be jam-packed with activities that get you outdoors and enjoying nature. The Stagecoach Reservoir is a great place for anglers to cast their lines. Rainbow trout is abundant in the reservoir, ranging in size from 14 to 18 inches long. One of the largest Northern Pike in Colorado was reeled in from the Stagecoach Reservoir, a 30-pound, 46-inch long catch. The park office does offer rod rentals for lake and fly fishing. Ice fishing is also popular in the reservoir, and visitors can rent ice fishing equipment on-site, including augers and ice fishing kits.

Camping at Stagecoach State Park

RV camping at Stagecoach State Park offers a relaxing and fun experience. The four campgrounds at Stagecoach State Park feature 92 sites, roughly two-thirds of which come with electric hookups. The maximum length for RV rentals is 40 feet. Coin-operated shower facilities are located near the marina. Restrooms are located within walking distance of each campsite. The showers, dump station, and drinking water facilities are available between May and September.

Exploring the Area

While visiting Stagecoach State Park, you'll want to stop by the Old Town Hot Springs in Steamboat Springs. You can relax in the pools fed by natural hot spring water. You'll feel rejuvenated when you step out of the water. The natural pools have been in existence for over 100 years and are thought to have been first discovered and used by the Ute tribe. Treat yourself to a nice massage after soaking in the warm water before heading back to your rental RV.
