Ford Transit 250 converted to a Camper Van that puts you a tier above minimalist camping. Car stereo has been upgraded with Apple and Android Play. The bed stows neatly into a little twin size sofa, and pulls out into a nearly Queen size bed. Equipped with a mini fridge, 10 gallons of fresh water (not heated), 2-burner propane stove, diesel heater, and 400 Watts of solar power feeding a 1000W inverter power center to provide the juice to your thirstiest devices (under 600w per outlet at a time please). A pull-out awning is mounted on the rear of the van to provide a hangout spot with shade on those hot, sunny days. What's includedFresh linens, 2 foldout camping chairs and table, 2 garbage bags, Jet Boil Coffee Press (and coffee), a mini propane tank, and a full tank in the diesel heater. If you need the “To Go” bathroom, we include 2 toilet bags, and 2 packs of poo gel, and a fold out toilet and tent for privacy. If you have a bike, we’ll throw in the bike rack and some bungee cords but renter will be responsible for securing their bike.RecommendationsTravel to Utah or the San Juans for some mountain biking or hiking, or head to Glenwood springs for some snowboarding. Or park it next to a nice river or lake and get some good fishing in! Either way, this van is perfect for a several day adventure out into the wild. This is a sign it's time to escape the day to day and do something different!Other things to noteThis van is not meant to be taken through super rough terrain that may puncture tires, bend axles, or anything of that sort. A/C is only available when can is on. Sunlight will charge the power center, but van is equipped with a backup inverter to charge the power center while the van is running if sunlight is unavailable. If the power center is overloaded or overheats from the internal van temp being too hot, it will turn itself off.

Highly communicative and accommodating

Tanna consistently provided quick, easy communication, thorough walkthroughs, and showed flexibility by offering airport pick-up/drop-off and accommodating date changes, making the experience stress-free for renters, including first-timers.

Effortless to drive and operate

Guests found the van super easy to drive, even for first-timers. It's clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully outfitted with everything needed, including a Jackery for off-grid power, a comfortable bed, and an efficient layout.

As a first-timer on the road with a rig, this was the perfect setup for me! Everything you could possibly imagine needing was already thought through and then some. I, of course, packed all these extra things for the kitchen, organization, etc. because I wasn’t sure what to expect, but Tanna had it all outfitted so thoughtfully that I barely needed any of it. The Jackery was ACE and honestly one of my favorite parts of the setup. It gave me the freedom to have electricity wherever I was, which made being off-grid feel super easy and comfortable. I did learn that if something bumps into the Jackery, it can accidentally turn off, but that was definitely more of a me-being-new-to-the-rig thing than anything else! Overall, Tanna made the whole experience incredibly easy for a first-timer. The rig was clean, comfortable, well-equipped, and clearly put together by someone who actually understands what you need when you're out on the road. Would absolutely rent in a heart beat!

This little camper van is just perfect for a trip to the surrounding mountains! It has everything you need but is still minimalist. It’s super easy to drive (I’ve never driven anything this “big” before). Any questions I had were answered quickly. I would absolutely recommend this van for anyone else thinking about future adventures!

This was the perfect setup for a weekend trip in Moab! The van has everything you may need for a safe, comfortable, efficient home on wheels to adventure in. Communication was always easy and quick if I ever had any questions. The walkthrough upon arrival was super informative and helpful for getting on the road. Absolutely would book again! This van is a special experience

My sister and I absolutely loved our van life experience, all thanks to Out & About! Tanna was a wonderful host!! She is friendly, responsive, and great at communicating throughout the entire process. She also made pickup and dropoff at the airport possible, which made our trip so much easier and more convenient. We had such a great experience and would highly recommend Tanna and Out & About to anyone looking for a fun and seamless van adventure!
