Tim's 4x4 Toyota Tacoma was absolutely perfect for our Big Island adventure! This camper sleeps 5-6 comfortably and proved to be the ideal setup for exploring the Big Island. The 4-wheel drive wasn't just a nice feature, it was essential and performed well on challenging roads, including the rocky ascent up Mauna Kea and other rugged backcountry routes. The Tacoma handled rough terrain with ease, giving us the confidence to explore places we wouldn't have otherwise reached.

We had an unforgettable experience! The van had everything we needed for the 7-day tour we took around the island. The kitchen was fully equipped. A full water tank provided at the start of the trip was plenty for the trip. The van has a solar powered generator that charges throughout the day and provides the electricity for the fridge, ceiling fan, and the outlets. It also has a portable outdoor gas stove (in addition to the indoor gas stove) and ample storage space. The hosts also provided 2 sets of snorkeling gear which came in super handy. We found the van super easy to drive and loved the convenience of having home and car all in one. Our hosts were super nice and helpful, and even offered camp site recommendations across the island . If we were to come back to the Big Island, we wouldn’t think twice about booking this van again! Book it, you won’t regret it.

Evita was very responsive and gave us plenty of extra supplies for our trip as well as great recommendations of where to visit on the island. The truck was perfect and we had no issues at all. Highly recommended!
