Take this Roadtrek Etrek off the grid and live life fully! Sleeps 2 (3 uncomfortably). Note: camper trailer shown in photos is not a part of the rental and not available for your trip. Upgraded suspension and off-road capabilities allow this Sprinter Van to roam where most don't dare. Solar panels cover the roof and recharge your 1200 amps of lithium batteries allowing for near limitless unplugged camping. The only thing limiting you is water and a sense of adventure.Please note that the camper air conditioner is not strong enough to cut the Las Vegas heat. It is only capable of handling temps under 95 degrees.Simply the best option for tail-gating or overlanding to Zion! Basic household items provided with the rental (plates, cutlery, bedding, toilette paper, etc), a detailed orientation to the van, and full water and fuel. It's pretty easy to drive (like a jumbo SUV) and everybody gets out of your way!As we approach Winter (my favorite time of year) be sure to know the weather during your trip. We restrict the van to temps above 32 deg F (28 deg F for short periods of time) to avoid water line freeze and damage. We can advise on fantastic routes year round to avoid the cold (and heat) so don’t let winter scare you away.Pickup and drop off available only between 11 am and 3pm (special exceptions granted if requested in advance)Absolutely NO Smoking OR Vaping Allowed IN THE VehicleNote: Any festival rentals (EDC, Sick New World, etc) are automatically subject to the Festival Cleaning Fee in Add-Ons - Taking our camper to Burning Man festival is prohibited and against Outdoorsy policyWhat's includedEverything you need to escape and enjoy nature:

It was an extraordinary trip. We flew into Las Vegas, picked up “Drifter” after a thorough walk through and explanation of the Sprinter van’s systems and drove off to see three different National Parks. Ken was very personable and knowledgeable of all the necessary equipment. The van was clean and comfortable and easy to drive. An important factor was it was quiet on the road. A previous van we used from a friend had off road tires that made it very difficult to carry on a conversation inside the moving van. Drifter was quiet! Since it was a few years old there was a bit of rattling noise going down the road, but nothing that disturbed our conversations. We had a wonderful time enjoying some dispersed camping in Nevada, Utah, and Arizona. The batteries lasted even when using the microwave, induction cooktop, and all the other electrical systems. The van comes with a 25 gal fresh water tank that allowed us both to shower, do all the cooking and cleaning up for several days before having to top it up. There were a few small issues that took place while we were camping, but a texts to Ken solved the issues. He responded immediately with the info we needed to correct the problem. He really knows his vehicle. With a vehicle so well equipped with such a variety of systems it was a relief to know he could resolve the issues so quickly with just a short text. The ten days we were out, putting over 1000 miles on the vehicle was full of wonderful memories.

Ken is a super host, he really wants to take care of the guest. The van (drifter) is easy to drive, you can find everything you need for a good road trip. We really enjoyed our time. Drifter is the perfect véhicule to explore the beautiful area near Las Vegas. 100% recommande.
