Renting an RV here gives you the opportunities to enjoy all the activities the park makes available. Park rangers offer educational programs that cover a variety of subjects throughout the year. These include full-moon, night hikes, and events that educate the public about the native wildlife that calls the park home, such as bats and owls.

The state poses the six-Ravine Challenge to those who wish to attempt it. This requires visitors to traverse the landscape that encompasses six, separate ravines during their stay at the park. They vary in depth and length, and some even require hikers to use ladders. Several waterfalls are encountered when completing the challenge, and portions of it provide picturesque views of the surrounding area.

Numerous hiking trails meander throughout the park, that vary in difficulty level. Some circumvent nearby lakes and ponds, while others snake through the local woodlands. The Pine Hills Nature Preserve sits on park property as well, and several lengthier hiking trails traverse this area. Some of these trails travel through lower areas, or even creek beds, and can be impassable during heavy rainstorms or very wet times of the year.
