Let's start with a few questions to narrow down your options.

Near the center of Kentucky, between Louisville and Lexington, is the popular outdoor destination of Taylorsville Lake State Park. This state park was originally built for flood control of the Salt River in 1983, and in modern-day is an extensive state park with a large lake. Taylorsville Lake covers over 3,000 acres when at its average capacity and has over 75 miles of shoreline for guests to explore. The lake and park are named after Richard Taylor, an early pioneer landowner who donated the first 60 acres of land for the town of Taylorsville.
When you book an RV in Spencer County, you’ll be able to easily explore all that Taylorsville Lake State Park has to offer, from its many miles of trails to its seemingly endless nooks and crannies on the shores of the lake. There is plenty to do while motorhome camping here, including boating, fishing, swimming, hiking, wildlife viewing, and more. Even though you’ll feel immersed in nature while RV camping at Taylorsville Lake State Park, you’ll still have access to many convenient towns nearby, one of the closest being Taylorsville itself.
