Hi there! My name is Alyssa. My husband, Neil and I came together through our love for travel and getting outside. Originally from the Monterey Bay Area, Big Sur and central coast has been our playground. Together we've made amazing memories camping up and down California and backpacking abroad in some beautiful countries. Ultimately, we planted roots in San Diego with the arrival of our biggest adventure -- raising our twins. As a family, we love exploring and sharing the adventure with others. Which is where our tiny trailer enters the picture. Whether it’s peace, fun or adventure you're looking for, everybody is welcome. Q.Do you offer delivery and pick-up?
A.
YES! We'll travel up to 80 miles to any private property. Unfortunately, we can't deliver to many State or National Parks at this time, but we're always happy to help hitch it to your vehicle. Marshmallow is towable by most cars. You'll need to ensure you have a minimum towing capacity of 1500lbs. Feel free to message us with any specific questions about towing with your vehicle - we'll do our best to answer them!
Q.What are some options for customizing the layout of the trailer?
A.
By default, we'll set up the camper with a queen bed and bunk bed. If you're interested in a different layout, here's some ideas for how we can set it up: Queen bed + Couch + Kitchenette | 3 twin beds + Kitchenette | 2 Full size beds + Bunk/Upper storage + Kitchenette | Dining area + Kitchenette + Queen size bed | Dining area + Kitchenette + Couch (converts to twin bunk bed) When you book, reach out to let us know about your trip and we are always happy to make some recommendations for you!
Q.What do I need to hitch the trailer to my vehicle?
A.
You'll need a 7-pin hookup and a 2" ball. We have some receivers available, but it might be best to bring your own. Recommended to use an 8in drop. Make sure your vehicle has a minimum towing capacity of 1500 lbs.
Q.Is there a manual for this thing?
A.
Yes! We've created "The Marshmallow Manual" just for our renters. We'll make sure to send it over during our exchange. We'll also be posting how to videos on our instagram @itsradventure.
