Rainbow Springs State Park is one of our favorites as well. You just can't go wrong with that beautiful, fresh, blue spring water in the hot summer sun. All within three hour drive from Sarasota. Myakka State Park offers a variety of hikes while still being close to the Gulf Beaches.
