Thanks!
What's includedPots, pans, coffee pot, cooking utensils included for free. One set of bedding is included, it is part of the "prep fee". Paper plates, plastic and styrofoam cups, plastic eating utensils are NOT included, again see pricing to add.Other things to noteYou must top off the propane unless otherwise noted. Otherwise there is a $50 charge (for RV miles and my time to propane station) plus the cost of the fuel. Usually amounts to around $75. Since many campgrounds and gas travel centers offer propane it is much easier for you to do it on your last day of the trip than for me. But I can do it if you can't find a place or forgot.

Everything was great! Carl was friendly, communicative, and flexible with pickup and dropoff. We rented the RV for EDC weekend and it was the perfect place to call home for 4 nights. The RV is well-appointed and taken care of. Carl has put a lot of work and care into the RV and it shows. When we picked up the RV, Carl gave us a full rundown of everything we needed to know. The fresh water and gas tanks were both filled and ready to go. The beds are comfortable and the AC keeps things RV nice and cold, especially in the front living area. The RV drives well and we had the generator running a lot to beat the Vegas heat. Everything worked out great. Overall we were very happy with our experience and would be happy to Rent from Carl again.

Carl's RV was fantastic. Very clean. Everything worked as it should. He's a very easy going guy and the pickup and drop off went great. He was very flexible. We didn't have time to return the unit clean and he was very fair and understanding about that. Charged a reasonable fee and tried to refund us our dump fee. Honest guy! Would recommend and rent from him again. Thanks Carl! - Josh Martelli / Owner of The Mint 400 Off-Road Race and Event

This is a great RV, and everything was as advertised. Carl provides a thorough orientation to his well-maintained and clean motorhome. He was easy to communicate with and flexible with our travel times. We would contact Carl again when back in the Las Vegas area.

Carl was a great host. He explained everything and knows his vehicle inside and out. I had zero issues, zero questions, zero concerns. Vehicle works, drives, functions as described. It was comfortable and provided an amazing family trip. 5 stars..

Carl's 2016 Thor Chateau was a wonderful experience. We had always wanted to rent a Class C motorhome to compare to our travel trailer. Carl was very informative and answered all of our questions preceding our pickup very quickly. He even communicated to me that it was running rough so he had it tuned up prior to our arrival. On the day of pickup, Carl went over everything we needed to know before we left. He had everything already topped off for us so all we had to do was head out to our first destination and enjoy ourselves. His RV went very well in the high winds that we experienced during our travels. I guess his beefed up suspension worked. On our return, we topped everything off the way we found it and met Carl at the drop off point. The return process was just as easy as the pick up. If we were back in his area we would reach out to him again for another rental. We would give Carl 5 Starrs for his 2016 Thor Chateau with the beefed up suspension. Joe & Kris

No smoking. . No climbing on roof . No candles or any fires in the coach except the stove. . The RV is given to you like a clean hotel room...you MUST return it in the same condition for the next renter. If you don't have time, that's ok, but you will be charged a cleaning fee. There are 3 levels of cleaning fees that might be charged depending on condition returned. . Of course you can cook in the RV, but no cooking of SMELLY or greasy foods inside the coach...to keep that "new coach" smell! Its a confined space and odors permeate EVERTHING and are hard to get out. The next renter (and me) are not very happy. If you are not careful an RV can smell like a restaurant dumpster! YUCK! I have a list of easy to prepare foods that are good for cooking/heating up in an RV. I'll share with people who book. The RV has an outdoor grill included as well, although it's not very big. A lot of people cook ahead of time and just heat up stuff. . Most important...have fun!

Frequently asked questions

Q.

What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?

A.

I'm very fliexible. Just ask. Note if you pick up early (let's say 10AM), then it is due on 10AM on dropoff day...however, I usually give 3 to 4 hours extra leeway on dropoff day.

Meet your host, Carl

I always wanted an RV. I saw a total eclipse in La Paz, Mexico in 1991 and felt my two boys should see one, so I bought my RV to see the total eclipse of 2017 with them and their mom. We ended up wandering through Utah, Colorado and on into Wyoming and boondocked on a ranch in "JAY EM". We met eclipse watchers from all over. It was a lot of fun, and the RV gives you a real sense of freedom. I would like to spend a year or two travelling all across the US someday.
