RecommendationsThis Winnebago can be your home away from home when you visit beautiful sites only hours outside Las Vegas. Try one of these destinations for a fun-filled vacation:Lake Mead: 40 minutes
Formed by the creation of the Hoover Dam, Lake Mead is the United States' largest man-made lake. Go boating, water skiing or fishing at Lake Mead National Recreation Area - or just soak up some sun on the sandy beaches.Pahranagat National Wildlife Refuge: 3 hours
At more than 5,000 acres, the Pahranagat Refuge is a breathtaking natural oasis in the Nevada desert. Have fun all year round with non-motorized boats, hunting, fishing and camping. The Grand Canyon: 4-5 hours
One of the seven natural wonders of the world, the Grand Canyon is a must-visit. Enjoy hiking, climbing and camping, or even descend into the canyon by burro. To avoid the crowds and congestion, give the less-traveled North Rim a shot on your Grand Canyon camping trip.Great Basin National Park: 5-6 hours
Great Basin National Park contains groves of one of the oldest living things known to man: the bristlecone pine. These trees can live more than 5,000 years! Camp in your spacious RV, then spend your days hiking this primitive wonderland - especially the Lehman Caves!Lake Tahoe: 8-9 hours
A beautiful drive and an amazing location, Lake Tahoe has everything anyone could want in a vacation. We recently took a boys trip there to go golfing and it was awesome. Tons of things to do outside but still minutes away from casinos and great restaurants.Sedona Arizona: 4-5 hours
Sedona and Red Rock Country has more than 300 miles of trails for hiking and biking, surrounded by green pine trees that contrast sharply with the deep red hues of buttes and canyon walls.Other things to noteNo climbing on the roof

Richard was a lifesaver! We had a reservation with another owner which fell through due to mechanical issues at the last minute and we were left in Las Vegas (traveled from the East Coast!) with no options - there were no available rv's for rent here on Outdoorsy or another platform for the dates we needed. To make a long story short, we were put in touch with Richard, who was able to squeeze us in, between 2 already-reserved rentals. Our trip looked a bit different, as we were cut short a day on the front end, and had to return a day earlier than our original rental in order fit in, but it was still wonderful! Richard was great to deal with, very attentive, responding right away to any questions we had while we were on the road, and worked with us on the pick up and return times. The only reason I am only giving 4 stars to the Mechanical section is because the overhead bunk was a bit difficult (we chose not to use it, but we still had plenty of sleeping options so it was no big deal) and there was a glitch with the GFCI outlets, but a cheap extension cord took care of that. These things didn't even dampen our fun, but I do want to give honest feedback. We had transportation and housing for our trip and we would rent it again. We are so very grateful that he went the extra mile to squeeze us in and save our vacation - thanks Richard!
