2000 Coleman Bayside Pop Up Camper 2000 Bayside Grand Tour Elite

Sleeps 6
17 ft. long

It's a beautiful Pop Up Camper perfect for a nice size family. It has 2 King beds on each side and a slide out kitchen, and a lift out stove area. It has lots of storage space, as well as an option for outdoor gas stove cooking. It has an AC unit on the roof, and has a fridge inside. The slide out kitchen also folds down to another bed.
This easily sleeps 6-8 people comfortably. (6 Adults, 8 w/ Kids)
The front has an awning that makes for a great outdoor area to hang out in, cook food in and relax especially when those summer sprinkles roll through.
Coleman is one of the most prestigious names in outdoor products and this camper is their absolute elite version of the camper's of this timeframe.
No leaks, in great shape.
Important Note- It is 2200 lbs to tow and it has a 7 point blade plug. Make sure you have both the vehicle capability and the hardware with which to tow it properly. You may need to double check your vehicle's capacity and perhaps get an adapter if you only have a 4 or 5 point flat adapter on your vehicle. Please look at the pictures of the plug and where I plug it in (7 & 4 points are standard on most trucks). As of August 2019, I've purchased an adapter for electrical hookups from 4 pin (on your vehicle) to a 7 pin (on the camper). Are you wondering how to pop a camper?

We have 4 girls and a dog, although the dog rarely camps; We love to camp and have loved having a pop up camper the past 8-9 years. This is our second one and with the kids getting older, we are trying to find a way to keep our camper busy as well. Our favorite trips are to the State Parks along the western side of Michigan and the tip of the thumb.

The whole experience was great! Russ was very friendly and explained everything we needed to know about the camper. It was perfect for our 5 day trip at Sleeping Bear Dunes. For being almost 20 years old, the camper was well taken care of and everything worked to our satisfaction.

This was my first experience with a pop-up but Russ made it a good one. He gave me an instruction booklet he had made up to help me with the assembly sequence and was available for questions during my trip. While we didn't use the gas stove or water, the A/C and fridge worked just fine, and we had no other noteworthy issues. My only word of caution is to pay particular attention to the various supports as it get rather confusing when they are all in pieces and you have to put the right ones together. I mentioned this to Russ and he is going to label them to help make it clearer for the next renter.

Russ was great to deal with. I would highly recommend Rus and his camper. It was perfect for my race weekend trip with my son!
