D'Lo Water Park Campground

Rent a camper near D'Lo Water Park Campground and explore the Simpson County Heritage Trail with your RV rental, which will take you to places like Westville that became a literal ghost town (only its cemetery remained) after the county seat was moved to Mendenhall. While there, take time to admire the Classical Revival architecture of the county courthouse. "Mississippi's Most Beautiful Courthouse" is the only building in the county listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Pinola used to be a much bigger place when a church was built here in the late 19th century but has now been reduced to an unincorporated community. And if you’re here in late September, find RV parks in D’Lo and participate in Magee’s annual "Crazy Day" event held on Main Street. D'Lo, of course, is often associated with the Strong River, which may have influenced the naming of this town when the river overflows. Nonetheless, the river is the star attraction of the town. If you plan to spend any amount of time here, know that gas stations and grocery stores are scarce, though there are plenty in nearby Mendenhall. There is always Jackson to look forward to, of course. If you’re willing to make the hour-long drive, you will be rewarded with more than two dozen museums to explore, over 300 restaurants to sample with cuisines ranging from Cajun to Greek to French, and three historic cultural districts to get lost in. Jackson’s arts and nightlife scenes are equally famous, so you have many more reasons to find an RV rental near Mendenhall, Mississippi, and stay in one of the campsites at D'Lo Water Park Campground.
